This section concerns ground and surface water resources within and around the site. It assess the suitability of the site’s location for the protection of these resources, as well as the site impact on the resources

This section evaluates the suitability of the WSD for sustainability with focus on its impact on the soil both on and around the WSD. It also covers the impact of the WDS on the nearby plants and wild life.

This section examines the suitability of the WDS's physical location for its sustainability. Factors including: rainfall, landslides, seismic activity, flooding, which impact the WDS and are determined by location, are considered.

This examines the influence of the WDS on the socioeconomic factors, on its surroundings, for its own sustainability, and that of the surrounding communities. Factors relating to infrastructure developments and income generation opportunities for the surrounding communities are considered.

The section examines the day-to-day activities, including: waste compacting, sorting, etc, on the WDS, for sustainability. The current state of the WDS (drainage channels, roads, site access, etc.) is also taken into account.
